Kevin Couture, 60, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at his home. Born in Meriden on November 24, 1955, son of the late Gerald J. and Rochina (Giordano) Couture, he was a life-long Meriden resident. He attended St. Rose School, Maloney High School and earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Central Connecticut State University. Kevin was employed by Pratt & Whitney as an Aerospace Engineer. He was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church. Kevin was a gifted musician and artist. He played with several talented musicians and was an outstanding drummer and singer. Kevin loved to cook gourmet meals from produce that he grew in his garden. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and in nature. He is survived by one daughter, Samantha Couture; one son, Mark Couture; one sister, Camille Couture; his dear friend, Trudy Voisine and many more loved family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 10 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 35 Center Street, Meriden. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden on Friday, April 8th from 4 to 7 pm.
