Russell E. Dupuis, 69, of Meriden, husband of the late Mary K. DeStefano Dupuis, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 17, 2015. Born in Meriden, CT on October 1, 1946, he was the son of the late Robert and Lorraine (Greene) Dupuis. He was a long time member of the CT Carpenter’s Union, Local 24, before his retirement. He also served in the US Navy. Russ will be forever loved and missed. Russ is survived by a daughter, Christina Dupuis-Fearney; a son, Todd Dupuis and his wife Sheri; three grandchildren, Maranda Dupuis-Fearney, Sean Dupuis and Brandon Cooper all of Meriden; a sister, Patricia Levesque; a brother, Robert Dupuis Jr., both of Wallingford. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Darrel Dupuis and his beloved Rescued Rottweilers. Family and friends may call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St. Meriden, CT 06450 on Wednesday July 15, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
