John N. Logozzo, 59, passed away on March 8, 2015 at home. Born in Meriden, he was the son of the late Robert and June Logozzo. John resided in Meriden, graduated from Platt High School and attended South Hampton University. Mr. Logozzo worked for Logozzo Construction for many years. John was a loyal member of the Elks Club Lodge #35 of Meriden and leaves many friends. He loved to cook for large functions and the Daffodil Festival. John was well read and enjoyed intellectual dueling. He loved gardening and nature. John is survived by a sister, Betsey Wright and her husband Wil; three nieces, Jane Casey, Elizabeth Culmone and Lauren Wright; two nephews, Scott and Timothy Minor. He is also survived by four grand-nieces and four grand-nephews. John was predeceased by his wife, Lisa Deag, his brother Rusty, his sister Nancy L. Booth and her husband Barry. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a funeral service to be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 12 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, CT 06450. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home prior to the service from 11 to 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Meriden Elks Club Scholarship Fund which was originated in John’s brother’s name, Rusty Logozzo.
