Barbara Mills 77, passed away on December 28, 2013 at Miller Memorial
Community, after a prolonged illness.
Born in Meriden on 9/5/1936, Barbara was the daughter of Frank and Valeria
Stabach and married for 43 years to Edward Mills who passed away last year.
Barbara graduated from Meriden H. S. and started working for Jefferson
Federal and without any formal education became a vice President.
Barbara was a caregiver for her father who had Kidney disease and visited
her mother every day while in the nursing home.
Barbara is survived by her brother Ron and wife Judy and their sons Chris,
Ryan and Eric.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 10:30 am from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden and at 11 am at St. Stanislaus Church, 82 Akron Street, Meriden for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home prior to the Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney
