Frances M. Wieloch, of Meriden, 100, joined her loved ones in heaven on November 28, 2013. She was born on March 13, 1913 in Baldwinsville, MA to Matthew and Mary Piascik. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Shirley Pagano, of Meriden and James Wieloch and wife Sonia of Brownsville, TX. Her husband, Stanley, of 52 years and other two children Joan Roccapriore and Stanley Wieloch, Jr. predeceased her, along with her parents, six siblings, one grandson, and one great-grand daughter.

Frances cherished her family which included 21 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews who adored her. For most of her working career, she worked at SS Kresge’s until her retirement. She was an active member of the community including a life-long parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church, a member of the Sunshine Club, Young At Heart at Holy Angels Church, and the oldest member of the Polish Falcons of America. For many years, she volunteered for the Daffodil Days for the American Cancer Society. Frances found peace and enjoyment in tending her garden, feeding the birds, cooking and sewing. Gratitude, kind-heartedness, and zest for living are the legacy that she leaves to all who knew her.
