Albert M. Landry, 81, husband of Jeannette Verville Landry, died on January 9, 2016 at Midstate Medical Center. Born in Arundel, Maine on May 8, 1934, he was the son of the late William and Irene Gilbert Landry. He graduated from St. Louis High School in Biddeford, Maine and was a Meriden resident since 1956. Mr. Landry was employed by Pratt and Whitney retiring in 1999. After his retirement he worked at the Arc of Meriden and Wallingford. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. His hobbies included woodworking, hunting, cribbage, spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Albert was also an avid Red Sox and UConn women’s basketball fan. Besides his wife, he is survived by his four daughters, Diane and Michael Duhamel, Jane and Kenneth Hollman, Cathy and Gary Poulin and Debra and Greg Agro; his son, Robert and Deborah Platt Landry; 12 grandchildren, Gary Duhamel, Kurt Duhamel, Kevin Duhamel, Robin Duhamel Jaworski, Jennifer Landry Brislin, Kyle Landry, Stephanie Hollman Evans, Allissa Hollman, Danielle Poulin, Andrew Poulin, Brett Agro and Brooke Agro; seven great-grandchildren, Jada, Jamien, Cole, Gemma, Carter, Landon and Sawyer; his two sisters, Constance and Roger Collard and Joan and Conrad Moisan; his brother Raymond and Lorraine Landry and his special friend, Michelle McCully. Albert is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Michael Albert Landry. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Thursday January 14th at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 109 Goodwill Ave., Meriden. Everyone is asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the John J.
