Andrew D. Erwin, 51, of Meriden, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Born in Tuxedo, NY on December 2, 1963, he was the son of Carol Erwin of Meriden and the late Clarence Erwin. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son Thomas Maguire, his daughter Cassidy Maguire, his grandson Anthony Maguire, his brother Daniel Erwin, his sister Anna Erwin, his sister and brother in law, Janice and Thomas Ahearn, his maternal grandmother, and two nieces. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
