Jacquelyn J. Siering, 81, of Meriden, wife of the late Donald G. Siering Jr., died Friday, Aril 3, 2015 at Waterbury Hospital after a long illness. Born in San Diego, California on June 11, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Peter and Dorothy (Thorpe) Woronick. Jacquie was a longtime resident of Meriden. She was a secretary at Meriden Orthopaedic Group and at Holy Angels Church as well as a parishioner and CCD teacher there. Jacquie left behind many friends in Meriden before her retirement to Arkansas where she also made many friends and fond memories. She is survived by a one son, Donald G. Siering Jr. of Waterbury; two granddaughters, Shelley Siering and Crystal Siering; three great-grandchildren, Farrah, Christian and Yousaf; one sister-in-law, Shirley Duffy of Meriden and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters-in-law. The funeral will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 11 am from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden and at 12 noon at Holy Angels Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 8th from 4 to 8 pm.
