Helen (Corneliusson) Bedard, 75, beloved mother and wife of the late Louis Bedard, Sr., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Midstate Medical Center on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Born in Hartford on May 5, 1939, the daughter of the late Gusta Corneliusson and Harriet (Cope) Pratt, she grew up in Wethersfield and graduated from Wethersfield High School. While working for the State, she also worked at Meriden-Wallingford Hospital psychiatric clinic and then worked for them as a medical transcriptionist. She retired from both the State of Connecticut and the Meriden-Wallingford Hospital and then went on to work part time for Dr. Harold Trinkoff until the age of seventy-two. She had a love for baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox. She loved to go to Falcons Field and watch the professional women’s softball team, the Falcons, play. She also loved to watch her daughters play softball through the years. She is survived by two daughters, Christine M. Bedard (Lee Smith) and Danielle M. Barry (Christopher Morrow) of Meriden; two sons, Louis J. Bedard, Jr. (Sheryl) of Wallingford and Michael Augustyn (Susan) of North Carolina; six grandchildren, Timothy Augustyn and Andrew Augustyn of North Carolina, Rachael M.
