Ida (Eda) B. Colaresi, 92, wife of the late Frank J. Colaresi, died on October 28, 2014 at home. Born in New Britain on November 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Zena (Nardini) Betti. She resided in Meriden. She was a past parishioner of St. Ann Church in New Britain and St. Stanislaus Church in Meriden. She is survived by two daughters, Gaile R. Colaresi of Meriden and Donna Coppola and her husband Steven of Wayne, NJ; one son, James Colaresi of Portland; four grandchildren, Michael Huntley of Durham, Janice Huntley of Durham, Kevin Coppola of Wayne, NJ and Paul Colaresi of Meriden; one brother, Attilio Betti of Southington and several nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank J. Colaresi; two sisters, Eleanor Morrisey and Elda Covaleski ;and two infant brothers; a brother-in-law George Covaleski; a sister-in-law, Alice Betti and two nephews. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 8:45 am from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden, CT and at 9:30 am at St. Stanislaus Church, 82 Akron Street, Meriden for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley Street, New Britain. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 5 to 7 pm.
