Kathleen M. Shaw, 69, of Meriden, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Middlesex Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Waterbury on May 25, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Harold C. Shaw and Mary Shaw Dutil. She had resided in Meriden for the past thirty years. She and her partner were instrumental in the pioneering of the industrial food truck industry. She enjoyed many activities including stock car racing and bowling and was an avid sports enthusiast. She is survived by one brother, Robert Shaw and his wife Lisa of San Diego, CA; a niece, Alexa Shaw of Chicago, IL and a stepsister, Cynthia French of Meriden. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a graveside service to be held on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 11:30 am at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Section 11. There are no calling hours. Should friends desire, contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the John J.
