MERIDEN MARIE T. CAMBRA Marie T. (Terry) Cambra, 86, loving wife of Charles Cambra, died April 2, 2014 at Apple Rehab Cocomo after a brief illness. Born April 17, 1927 in Norwich CT, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alida (Daigneault) Trahan. She attended Norwich schools and retired from International Silver Company. She was a skilled doll maker and seamstress. For more than 60 years, she accompanied her husband on stage as his assistant in a world-class magic act known as Señor Carlos and Terry. Besides her husband of 60 years, she is survived by two daughters Shirley Wilbur and her husband John, and Jeanne Cosenza and her husband Christopher, a son Arthur George, a stepdaughter Lesley Lusteg and her husband Walt, a stepson Charles D. Cambra and his wife Colleen, 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, a great-great grandson and several nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her stepmother, Phoebe Normandin Trahan, a daughter Alida DeSimone and son-in-law Ralph Desimone, a stepdaughter Alice Cambra, a brother Edmond Trahan, her sisters, Simone Bourdon Lepianka, Anita Dobek and Sister Florence Trahan. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 12 noon at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden.
